No Bake Apple Cinnamon Bites

Breakfast Kid-Friendly Snacks

It's easy to get stuck in the same routine with snacks (especially with kids). Although, healthy store-bought packaged snacks are convenient, they can be a little pricey. These no bake apple cinnamon bites, take the guess work out of searching the grocery aisles and reading labels. With just a few ingredients and less than 10 minutes, you can have a healthy, ready-to-go snack, filled with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, protein and a little sweetness. Perfect for adults (when you need a healthy, sweet snack) and great for kids - we promise they won't taste the flax seed! 

No Bake Apple Cinnamon Bites, (Gluten + Dairy Free), Makes 14 Bites


1 cup Gluten Free Oats (quick or traditional)
1/4 cup Ground Flax Seed
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/3 cup Almond Butter (to make these nut-free, use sunflower seed butter)
2 tbsps Raw Honey
1 Apple (peeled, cored and finely


1. Mix oats, ground flax seed and cinnamon together in a bowl. Then add the almond butter, honey and diced apples. Mix well again.

2. Before rolling the dough, wet hands to prevent dough from sticking. Then roll the dough into balls (about the size of a golf ball). 

3. Transfer the bites on to a plate and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (until firm). Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Enjoy!
